LANsurveyor Hardware and Software Asset Management
LANsurveyor allows you to automate software and hardware inventory
reports to save time and money, ensure licensing compliance, and plan
effectively for system upgrades and modifications.
LANsurveyor includes two standard reports for software asset management:
Software Meter and Software Inventory. The Software Meter Report creates
a list of running applications and processes. The Software Inventory
Report creates a list of applications, Control Panels, DLLs/Extensions,
Fonts or Startup Items and their versions. Use these reports
measure software license compliance or to determine software upgrade needs.
Use Custom Reports to easily customize any report, including Hardware Asset reports.
LANsurveyor's Repository allows you to store asset information in a local or shared database.
The Repository tracks configuration changes over time. You can access asset information with
third party software, even when client nodes are off-line.
