Continuous Scan makes vulnerability assessment and security policy enforcement easy and affordable.
Stand-alone vulnerability assessment tools require administrators to manually launch programs and are limited to performing site-wide scans often scheduled at a certain time. Continuous Scan works with Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer (MBSA), Qualys QualysGuard, and Symantec NetRecon to automatically perform vulnerability assessment when a new system is connected to a network. This allows network managers to find new nodes and test them at any time.
Continuous Scan is easy to use and accessible to most IT departments as an inexpensive option for LANsurveyor. Continuous Scan provides small- to medium-sized organizations and workgroups within large organizations the ability to continuously scan their networks for rogue systems. Once a new system is discovered, Continuous Scan authenticates, scans for vulnerabilities, and automatically disables network access for unauthorized or vulnerable systems.
