  • Rogue Nodes with Masked IP Addresses

Some people may attempt to compromise your network using a system that masks its IP address.

Other intrusion detection systems may only discover rogue nodes when they attempt to connect to systems on a different switch. Continuous Scan can discover nodes even if their network activity is limited to the same switch they are connected.

Continuous Scan discovers rogue nodes and reports their Ethernet address (or MAC address) through a LANsurveyor alert.

Continuous Scan will report rogue nodes and will report when the nodes change switches or switch ports they connect through.
